WELCOME HOME
We are a collection of dreamers, mothers, misfits, adventurers, students and artists, all passionate about living our best lives.
We believe that a healthy mind, body + soul connection is the culmination of the many Rituals that make up our every day.
Let our Yogahouse become part of Your Daily Ritual.
Book a nourishing Slow Yoga Flow or a down and dirty, sweaty Ab'asana Class.
Join our Sunday Morning Walking Club and work your body or a guided Meditation Class to flex your mind.
Enjoy some "adult time" during our Book Club Sessions or bring the whole crew out to a Family Hike.
Healthy Rituals start at Home. Welcome Home to Ritual Yogahouse.
Teaching Style: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - Some of my classes are basically supervised nap parties and others will kick your butt!
Favourite Pose: “Instant Maui”. This is a Restorative Pose developed by Judith Lasater to cool, calm and stimulate the parasympathetic side of the nervous system. It’s a 20-minute beach vacation for my body, mind and heart.
Can Often Be Found: Cooking, eating, or discussing what I am going to eat next
My Healthy Ritual: I wake up early and start every day with gratitude, followed by breathwork and then gentle movement with Ritual's Breakfast Club; 'RISE 45'. Committing to making the time each morning for this Daily Ritual allows me to start the day on my terms, and when I am ready, as opposed to being "spit" into a day that is already happening to me.

Hometown: Barbados
Teaching Style: Gentle, calming & nourishing
Favourite Pose: Does Savasana count ? Lol
Quote: ”if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours”, Dolly Parton
My Healthy Ritual: I always listen to and tune in with what my mind and body needs and then act accordingly. Some days it may be meditation and movement, others it’s eating poutine and chicken fingers while dancing to my favourite tunes! It’s all about balance. Self care isn’t selfish. It’s Self preservation. It’s Self love.

Hometown: Guildford, Surrey. England. A very historical town with Saxon roots dating back to the 5th Century. It has cobbled streets, a Norman castle and a cathedral made famous by the 1976 film "The Omen"
Teaching Style: Rather like a mixed tape - Some rock, some roll, some slow and deep, some introspective, sometimes a new release and sometimes a rerelease. A yogic catalogue!
Favorite Quote: "In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile. In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm. I realized, through all, that...In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there's something stronger - something better, pushing right back", Albert Camus
My Healthy Ritual: A long candlelit soak in a bubble and Epsom salts filled bathtub, with a good book and a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Peaceful, relaxing solitude.
Social Media: @lovepeaceyogini
Teaching Style: Rooted in fundamentals but I love exploring all aspects of the practice: physical, mental and emotional. Strong influence from martial arts. I love building up the pose so students have a solid foundation.
Can Often Be Found: Hiking on the Bruce Trail or sitting by the lake
Favorite Artist at the Moment: Taylor Swift
Favorite Pose: Pigeon Pose
My Healthy Ritual: Ice baths at the Nordic Spas
Social Media: @nghimo
Can often be found: On a lake or river in my new kayak
Teaching Style: Welcoming and accessible yet challenging Vinyasa/Yoga Flow Classes. I create a safe space for everyone to practice at their own level while encouraging you to dig deeper to see what you are truly capable of.
Favorite Book: ‘Embers’ by Richard Wagamese (and the latest Louise Penny!)
My Healthy Ritual: Early morning walk outside (regardless of the weather!). Finding the peace and inspiration of nature everyday.

Teaching Style: A gentle nudge towards taking a journey of curiosity. Like unwrapping a present to reveal a beautiful bright shiny jewel. We polish the jewel through the meditation journey - the jewel is you.
Favorite Artist of the Moment: Eric Bolton (@eric_bolton) He is just an amazing human who is courageous and inspirational
Favorite Quote: If you want to walk fast, walk alone, but if you want to walk far, walk together. - Ratan Tata
Biggest Lesson of this Last Year: We control nothing, except ourselves. Kindness is everything and we can do hard things when we do them together, link arms and have faith as we step into the unknown every day.

Can Often Be Found: Dancing, in nature, dreamland or surrounded by some form of water OR fluffy creature.
Favorite Quote: "I Am Not Afraid, I Was Born to Do This”; Joan of Arc.
Biggest Lesson of this Last Year: Two Handles: Which one will I use today?
We always have a choice, the power & free will to make MAGIC happen. I guess it just all depends on whether we choose to keep hanging on, or let go and allow ourselves to choose "Grabbing onto the Other Handle".
My Healthy Ritual:
First thing I do: Wake up, Smile, Say "Thank You, I love You, I am Sorry, Please Forgive me, I love You, Thank You; For Today, This Breath, My Body, My Heart, My Family + Friends & my LIFE" and then I dance with The Minions! (my cats)

SUNDAY MAY 15, 6:30pm
Eclipses are illuminators, revealing to us truths that we may have been ignoring and refusing to look at. They will bring these thoughts and feelings to the forefront so that you can’t ignore them anymore and are forced to work with them.
During this Lunar Eclipse we will carve out space and time to receive these truths, and notice any signs that are pointing you towards releasing something or stepping into something new.
