Ursula Purvis - Yoga and Meditation Teacher

Ursula is our proud and fierce mama bear with an ethereal, empathetic fairy soul. She transcends the buzz terms of `self care' and `self love', embodying their ideals in their truest form.
 
What Makes Ursula smile: its not a surprise that dancing and sunshine are high on her list, along with sharing the love of art and all things living with her daughter, Everly.  But what makes her special is her surprising appreciation of horror movies,  rocking out downtown in basement bars to her son, Ashton`s , Punk Band and learning about all things Japanese Anime with her daughter, Elle.

Sam Cini - Yoga Teacher

 Sam is our modern-day Goddess, rocking doc martens, while wearing a crown. She is divine, magickal, fun, wild, raw, nurturing, empathetic & unique – her style, presence and conversations will be sure to ignite your own  Goddess / God within. 


Sam has a clear mission: to be of service – by creating + offering & assisting healing through safer spaces for ALL to go within, so they may be able to create safer spaces for ALL without. By weaving reiki, yoga, ELDOA, mindfulness, meditation and rituals - Sam’s toolbelt has something for everyone. 


What makes Sam happy? Helping others, connecting with nature, being with loved ones, hot bubble baths, cold showers, cuddles with her cat Luther, dancing around in her underwear, baking brownies, casting spells, sipping tea & spending time within her soul.

Sukh Bhardwaj - Yoga Teacher

 Life has come full circle for Sukh. She started her career teaching back in 2003 and after sailing the high and low waves of marriage, motherhood, change of country - essential starting her entire life all over again - shes back to what she loves; teaching.


The Yoga Journey has enabled Sukh to step into her role as Yoga Teacher with a true sense of empathy + authenticity and aspires to her create a space where there`s no judgement. Sukh is the definition of strength, freedom, support + acceptance of true self.

Jenn Hogan - Yoga Teacher

Yoga for Children + Teens, Mobility and Meditation are all specializations  that Jennifer has spent time diving deeper into and our Ritual Community now reaps the benefits of her knowledge during her accessible and welcoming classes.


When not at the Yogahouse you will find Jennifer on long walks outdoors with her dog, spending time with her husband and busy teenagers or hanging out with her friends over a glass of wine.

Eliza Allen - Yoga Teacher

Eliza is the most lovely example of a real live paradox. The Spicy side of her loves Curry, Red Lipstick + the Cure, while the soft English Yogi in her loves Bluebell woods in the Spring, being barefoot in nature + dark and stormy nights bathed in a candle lit glow. 


Eliza's world centers around her two bullies, and is passionate about her volunteer work with Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Rescue.

Cassandra Marcon - Yoga Teacher

In younger years Cassandra became a swimmer, a jogger, a gym-rat for a hot minute and even dabbled in Tae Bo (hello 1994!) all in an effort to manage the stress of her perfectionist personality. The one discipline that truly resonated with her, following through her development years was her devotion to Yoga.


Cassandra's belief: "this is a practice that adapts to where you are and what you need: energy, calm, sweat, surrender"
When not on her mat Cassandra can be found either reading, puttering in the kitchen or somewhere wandering outside.

Robert Saini - Yoga and Meditation Teacher

 Robert was searching for ways to cope during a period of challenge with mental health when he first discovered the Yoga Practice. He will be the first to admit he attended his first yoga class thinking it would be an "easy" fitness class because he was lazy. However he was shocked that the class kicked his butt! More importantly the feeling afterward was remarkable, not only physically but MENTALLY and he has been a devotee ever since.


Our gentle giant is now passionate about creating a safe space for his students to explore themselves and, in turn, find calm in the chaos around them. 


 In addition to his Yoga Teacher Training, Robert has completed his 100 Hour Meditation Teacher Training through Hoame

Aisha Clarke - Yoga Teacher

Yoga literally means union. To unify ones self to ones true self.  But it also means communion, in the current universal climate of separation we need yoga more then ever!  With every class I teach, I feel elation in being able to bring people together to teach them a practice that not only unifies them individually but will ultimately unify them all as one. 


Music moves me ... Every mood, moment and memory can be denoted with a song. All of my yoga soundtracks are meticulously chosen to inspire you and speak to the movements we are practicing together. 


Oh and if you want to know where to get donuts anywhere in the GTA.... I’m that lady!  My personal fav: Sanremo’s Apple Fritters are the bomb.com!!

alli Monett - Yoga and Meditation Teacher

 Alli's teaching style has beendescribed as the epitome of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". Some of her classes embrace high energy and sweet sweat as you flow to the driving beat of her playlist while others are so deep, slow and restful that they have been dubbed "supervised nap parties". 


Alli is on a campaign to get people to give themselves the permission to slow down, dig deeper into themselves and discover the very simple things that make them happy.


What makes Alli happy? Getting dirty in her garden or Jeep, afternoon naps and her two pugs Chunky and Nutz. 


 In addition to her Yoga Teacher Training, Alli studies Meditation through McMaster University.

Nghi La - Yoga Teacher

Nghi is passionate about many things- photography, film, getting out in nature, food and his yoga community.


Nghi has been teaching yoga for 10 years and before that his foundations were in the martial arts- Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Aikido and Krav Maga, to name a few. A lot of what he teaches now is influenced by these disciplines. 


If you are looking for an interesting person to mix up conversation at a dinner party, we would suggest inviting Nghi.

Lorraine Kiely - Meditation Teacher

I left Scotland for Canada at age 21 to explore where I was born. It was meant to be a 6 month trip. That was in 1988 and I am still here, still exploring.


For years one of my best friends in Scotland had been encouraging me to try meditation.  I never listened to her until a few years ago, when I was faced with multiple personal life challenges.  Soon I began to discover the beauty of the journey within, all that it revealed and the realization that thoughts are only fake news. Now my biggest desire is for every person on the planet to experience the magic of this practice.  


What makes me Happy? My 4 dogs, Australian Labradoodles, have my heart. My 4 boys (actually 4 men, well 5 if you include my husband.. wait no that is definitely 5 boys). Nature, cows especially Highland Cows, Hares, Stags.  I love the sound of running water and roosters at dawn. I love to eat. And I absolutely try to sit in stillness as often as I can because that’s where the magic happens.

     Wholebody Fitness offers women’s only FITcamp classes geared to getting you sweaty and stronger while always having some FUN. Exercise does not have to suck! Come build your strength with Kelly and Wholebody Fitness in a fully supported, inclusive environment.
